Carol Grimes

Contains 15 performances.

British jazz matriarch. A major contributor to the pre-punk incarnation of Rock Against Racism. Performed for A&S in a bewildering combination of duos, trios and ensembles.  According to Blues in Britain magazine, 'her repertoire is so eclectic that it hardly seems meaningful to try and pigeonhole her at all.' See her autobiography The Singer's Tale (Gottahave, 2017) for further details.
