Conor played an integral role in the success of one of the first open mic poetry events at Café Moka in Dublin.
He left his native Ireland when a desire to travel took him abroad. He subsequently relocated to Manchester where the poetry scene opened its arms to his witty but dark character-filled poetry influenced by people and events he saw in Ireland.
Since then Conor has successfully established himself as a writer/poet, creating a reputation as a creative risk-taker, trying out forms that stretch the concept of performance poetry further by involving improv, use of pictures and theatre elements.
Conor’s most successful project has been the success of Per Verse: a monthly open mic and improv. poetry event he organised and hosted.
