Indigo Williams was winner of the 2012 New Generation Slam.

Indigo is one half of art collective, I Shape Beauty, who use poetry, video mapping, costume and visual art to explore the issues that impact women of colour. She has also facilitated workshops across Europe, Bangladesh and Nigeria, is a spoken word educator, and works full-time in a secondary school as part of a programme in conjunction with Goldsmiths University.

Her work has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Bespoken Word, Tedx Brixton, Glastonbury Festival and Cheltenham Literature Festival.
