Marc Matthews

Marc Matthews is a Guyanese writer, actor, musician, broadcaster and producer.

 

In the 1960s he was involved in the UK Black Power movement in London, and in the 1987 he won the Guyana Prize for his debut poetry collection. He is also known for his work under the pseudonym Tramping Man, a musical collaboration with Jean Phillippe Altier and Adam Hoyle.
