Philip Jeays

Contains 3 performances.

Singer-songwriter in the chanson tradition. England's finest exponent of the genre since Jake Thackray, and in many people's opinion, on a par with Jacques Brel himself. Born 1962 and steadily releasing albums since 1999's October. Unjustly overlooked - possibly because of British failure to grasp the concept of chanson (Google's hopelessly inappropriate description of him as 'folk-rock' just about sums it up).
