All-female quintet of writers and actors: Julia Darling, Ellen Phethean, Charlie Hardwick, Kay Hepplewhite and Fiona MacPherson. Phethean and Darling afterwards started Diamond Twig, a small press dedicated to publishing work by women from the north of England. Darling died in 2005 and Phethean wound up Diamond Twig in 2018.
