Steven Wells, 1960-2009. Came up with the term 'ranting poetry' and, with Attila the Stockbroker, effectively launched the genre. Moved into music journalism with the NME, initially as Susan Williams. Co-founded video production company GobTV with Nick Small, and latterly wrote for the Guardian amongst other publications.
