Cinnamon Sisters

Contains 1 performance.

Cinnammon Sisters were Maya Chowdhry & Seni Seneviratne doing poetry, songs and visuals.  They still collaborate on projects.

Maya Chowdhry is now an inTer-aCtive artist, Transmedia writer and poet, making interactive theatre and site-specific Installation. My recent work is immersive exploring the juxtaposition and conflicts of new technologies with the ‘natural world’, utilising film, text, animation, photography, augmented reality and the Web. My work has been exhibited in and around canals, in public gardens, theatres, galleries, the web and on television.'  Taken from http://interactiveartist.org/

Seni Seneviratne is a writer, poet, performer, singer and creative artist born and raised in Leeds, Yorkshire and of English and Sri Lankan heritage. Her work as a poet and live artist has been praised particularly for the unique talent of engaging an audience through poetry and song.

Her poetry is published internationally. She has given readings, performances and workshops in UK, US, Canada, South Africa, Egypt and Kuwait.

She currently works as a freelance writer, mentor, trainer and creative consultant. From http://seniseneviratne.com/
