Dinner Ladies

Contains 9 performances.

Goodtime/roots band comprising Mick Jackson (vc), Lorraine Bowen (various, vc), Ben Davies (gtr, uke) and Julia Palmer (cello, vc). Released one LP, These Knees Have Seen the World (1988), on Joe Boyd's Hannibal label. Played final London gig at A&S on 19 Oct 1990.  Bowen went on to solo cult acclaim, while Jackson is an award-winning novelist and short-story writer. Essential Dinner Ladies track: 'Muscle in the Bud'.
