Apples & Snakes - The 2nd London Poetry Festival (Perf 6)

The festival ran from Monday 24th – Saturday 29th June and included Poetry Workshops on Sat 29th June.

The Workshops were held on this day, part of the Poets In Education Scheme (PIES).

Workshop programme times were 11.30 – 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm – 3.30 pm. Two workshops for each time slot that participants chose which workshop they wished to attend.

11.30 – 1.00 pm – Anne Johnson talking about her work in parks, pensioners and kids with practical exercises OR Vanessa Richards & Khefri of the MANNAFEST outlining their work with 37 Community Arts project, followed by practical workshop.

2.00 pm – 3.30 pm – Atomic Rap poet PINK SLY workshop on movement, voice work and FUN! OR  BEN RAIKES who was the education worker at Apples & Snakes gives advice on Poets interested in getting involved with community organisations, schools, hospitals, prisons etc.
